Start Here

The fast path from a boxed device to a working node on the camp Meshcore mesh. Four steps. Stuck at any point? Jump to the Mesh Nest — tent 5.

1 · Get a device

Any of the three known-good boards. No device yet? → Devices. Already have a LoRa board? Skip ahead.

2 · Flash Meshcore

Meshcore is the camp's primary stack. → Meshcore → Flash. Roughly five minutes with a web flasher where supported.

3 · Load the camp settings

Match region, frequency slot, channel, preset and PSK to the camp. → Settings — the card to screenshot.

4 · Confirm you're on the mesh

Open the Meshcore app and check you can see camp nodes and the chimney repeater. → Meshcore → Config & joining.

Meshtastic is supported too, but the camp feeds no services into it, and the stacks don't bridge. Here for Reticulum? That's workshops-only — Reticulum.
